Chris Robson – Director and Co-Founder

Chris Robson

Chris is an experienced Board Level marketing and digital consultant with a passion for conceiving and developing ideas, products, services and businesses. He has unusual experience of both starting and building several successful new businesses and in advising blue-chip clients on how to innovate and grow.

He has advised a number of companies on their marketing, brand and digital strategies. He has proven expertise in building innovative businesses in the marketing industry across countries.

Most recently Chris was CEO of Edengene Ltd, a strategy consultancy focused on growth and innovation, with clients including Coca-Cola, Unilever, GSK, RBS, Abbey, O2, BT, Eon and nPower.

Previously he built up and successfully floated syzygy AG, a pan-European Internet solutions company on the Neuer Markt in Oct 2000, raising 55m€, with clients including Daimler Chrysler, Citroen, Mazda, Barclays, UBS and PepsiCo. He is a Founding Director of Ink publications, the world’s largest contract publisher of in-flight media. He was Interim Commercial Director of Icomera AB, the world’s first provider of broadband Internet access on trains and before that he was the youngest Board Director of Ad agency DMB&B. Chris has an MSc from London Business School as well as an MA from Oxford University. Chris is the author of Confessions of an Entrepreneur published by Pearson

Nick Velody – Co-founder

Nick is a communications specialist with a deep rooted understanding of brand strategy and developing customer value. He is passionate in seeing this demonstrated in business behaviour and messaging whatever the discipline and is unusual in being able to make it relevant from corporates to SME’s.

Nick started his career at the ad agency, Ogilvy and Mather on major brands such as Lucozade & Ford and was the youngest Board Director at Grey, running flagship accounts such as Mars & Allied Dunbar. Nick was a Founding Director of Joshua, the innovative integrated marketing agency, which he helped to build up to a 180 person agency. More recently he was strategy director of financial specialist agency Space01 and also set up from scratch the country’s leading car corrosion protection SME, Rustmaster Ltd.

Stephen Elliott – CTO

Stephen has a strong technical background with 20 years professional IT experience, the last 11 of which have been directly in internet development. He has a degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (2:1) from Nottingham University, and his early IT career was spent developing voice recognition technology. Stephen subsequently had a senior role at international web agency syzygy (www.syzygy.net) where he led the development teams for the Boots e-commerce website, and websites for Citroën and Mazda. In 2003 Stephen founded Llama Digital, an award winning web agency specialising in delivering technical web solutions.
